CAT 2018: Image Correction Facility Opens Today

Candidates will have one final opportunity to re-upload their photographs incase it wasn’t properly uploaded during CAT Registration. Students may avail the facility of image corrections along with few other fields till Sep 30, 2018 by 5:00 pm.

After the closure of the registration process of CAT 2018 on Sep 26, 2018, this correction window has been enabled from Sep 27, 2018 10:00 am. The facility is only extended to those candidates who paid the registration fee and completed the registration process within the stipulated deadline. How to edit CAT 2018 Application Form?

CAT Registration ends today i.e. September 26, 2018 by 5 pm. This is a final reminder for all the students who want to apply for this exam and are yet to apply. Earlier, the last date to apply was extended from September 19 to allow more aspirants to complete the online registration process. However, in all likelihood no further opportunities will be provided to aspirants to complete registration.

CAT 2018 is scheduled for Nov 25, 2018 across 140 cities in the country. Candidates will be able to download admit card through official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in from Oct 24, 2018 onwards.

CAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The most important thing to check off in your list prior to applying for CAT 2018 is the eligibility criteria. All applicants must meet the eligibility guidelines set up by the conducting authority of CAT 2018, IIM Calcutta. It is mandatory to fulfil the eligibility conditions before applying for the management entrance exam.

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Candidates in final year/semester are eligible.

Steps to Register and Complete Application Process

CAT 2018 Application window opened on August 8, 2018, and the last date to apply will be September 19, 2018. The application window will close at exactly 5:00 PM on the last date. Candidates must ensure that they fill the application form within the given time-frame.

For the ease of applicants, here are steps to follow to complete CAT 2018 Application process:

  • Go to the official CAT 2018 website i.e. www.iimcat.ac.in
  • Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and then click on ‘Register’
  • Read the instructions and proceed.
  • Enter all mandatory details asked in the form i.e. Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Country and Email Address to generate OTP and complete CAT 2018 Registration.
  • Enter the OTP and click on Validate OTP and submit after entering the Captcha Code.
  • Accept the Declaration and submit CAT Registration Form.
  • After submission, a message will be sent on the registered mobile number containing the user ID and Password, also an email will be sent to the given email address with the same details.
  • Click on ‘Go to Application Form’ to fill CAT Application Form.
  • Use the login credentials to sign in
  • Fill in all the required details in the Application form.
  • Candidates will have to fill following in detail: Personal Details, Academic History, Work Experience, Program Preference, Choice of examination center, Uploading of signature and photograph, and Payment of Application Fee
  • Candidates will have to submit the application form by clicking “Submit and Pay” to be redirected to the payment window.
  • The fee can be paid in online mode only.
  • After payment, candidates applying for CAT 2018 will receive a confirmation mail on the registered email id.

Documents to be uploaded

Candidates have to upload the following documents during CAT 2018 Application process:

  • A scanned image of passport size photograph within the dimensions of 35mm X 45mm.
  • A scanned image of the signatures within dimensions of 80mm X 35mm.
  • Images should be in .jpg or .jpeg format with file size of maximum 80 kb.
  • Candidates belonging to different categories will have to upload the category certificate in a pdf format, with attested signatures of the concerned authorities.

CAT 2018 Form Correction

In case, candidates have made any mistake while filling CAT 2018 Application Form, the same can be corrected before the online payment. However, after submission of CAT Application Form, there will be a limited time window during which the details can be modified.

Candidates can only edit a few fields of information like Percentage of Marks scored, Work Experience, Programmes Selected etc.

Things to Know for CAT Applicants

Preference of selecting four cities

From the year 2018, candidates will get preference to select four cities where the exam centre located in order of preference. However, candidates will not be able to select the session of the examination as it will be assigned randomly

Registration fee

Candidates have to pay the registration fee through online payment modes only, which will include credit cards, debit cards and net banking.

Test Format to available from October 17, 2018

The conducting authority will release CAT 2018 Test format and Tutorial for the same, to understand the format of the test on the CAT website from October 17, 2018.

Exam Pattern

CAT 2018 examination will be of 180 minutes duration and candidates will be allotted 60 minutes for answering questions in each section and they will be restricted to switch from one section to another. The questions will be in three sections

JNU to accept CAT scores for MBA admission

Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU), Delhi starting this year will also accept CAT scores for admission in the School and Management and Entrepreneurship programme at the University.

IIM Calcutta Inviting Applications from Non-IIMs to Accept CAT Scores

IIM Calcutta, the organising authority of the CAT 2018 exam, will also coordinate the registration process for Non-IIM institutions. All such institutions will be able to use the scores of CAT 2018 for offering admissions to the students in the Post Graduate Management courses (like PGDBM and MBA) for the batch starting from 2019.

This change will provide a centralised platform for those students who were earlier required to appear in multiple entrances to get admission to the management courses in various institutions. It would also save their time and effort in registering for multiple management entrances and preparing differently based on their pattern.



The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been issued and posted on the official website of confirming this agreement. Additionally, IIM Calcutta has also opened the registration process for the non-IIM institutions who are planning to use CAT 2018 scores of the candidates for offering them admissions to their courses.

Such non-IIM institutions will be able to fill and submit their application form latest by July 25, 2018. The next section takes you through the process of registering for using the CAT 2018 examination scores by the non-IIM institutions.

Registration Process for Non IIMs

Registering for using the CAT 2018 Scores for Offering Admissions by Non-IIM Institutions

The management of the non-IIM institutions needs to follow the simple steps mentioned below to complete registration process:

  1. Download the MOU and the registration form from the official website of IIT Calcutta – https://www.iimcal.ac.in/.
  2. Pay the registration fee on the behalf of the non-IIM institution in the account details provided in the MOU.
  3. Fill the MOU and application form and e-mail the scanned copies of the duly filled application form along with the required documents to the e-mail Id mentioned in the MOU. Note that the filled application form and MOU must be signed by the designated authorities and stamped in the name and registration number of the institution.
  4. Send the original duly filled, signed and stamped MOU (2 copies), application form (1 copy), and the hardcopies of the required supporting documents at the admission office of IIM Calcutta. The address is specified in the MOU.
  5. Once the registration process is successful, the non-IIM institution will be informed by the IIM Calcutta. Post then, the institute will receive section-wise scores and percentile of the candidates qualifying the CAT 2018 exam.

Registration Fee

Those non-IIM institutions, which have already registered for CAT 2017 and want to use the CAT 2018 examination scores, need to pay the annual registration fee of INR 2,25,000/- + 18% GST. The registering institution needs to pay this fee through bank transfer, the details of which are mentioned in the MOU.
Those non-IIM institutions, which have not registered for CAT 2017, will need to pay the one-time non-refundable membership fee of INR 75,000/- + 18% GST along with the annual registration fee of INR 2,25,000/- + 18% GST. This amount sums at INR 3,00,000/- + 18% GST.

 

Documents Required by the Non-IIM Institutions

The non-IIM institutions need to submit the following documents along with their application form:

  • The non-IIM institutes, which want to use the CAT 2018 examination scores, need to submit the copy of their accreditation certificate authorised by AICTE, MHRD, or another equivalent statutory accreditation authority. Those B-schools, which have already applied for obtaining the accreditation certificate are also eligible for getting CAT 2018 scores of the qualifying students.
  • The non-IIM institutions, which are registered as a university through the act of State Legislatures or Parliament of India, or are declared as a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, need to submit a copy of documentary evidence.
  • Additionally, any registering non-IIM institution or university must submit the following documents:
    • A copy of their course brochure or pamphlet for the records of IIM Calcutta.
    • A copy of their advertisement notification in any newspaper offering the admissions to their courses through the CAT 2018 scores.

IBSAT 2019 Exam Pattern: Check Marking Scheme and Syllabus

IBSAT organised by ICFAI foundation for students seeking admission to various PGDM and MBA programs. It is a computer based test conducted in English language only. IBSAT Exam Pattern is published on the official website i.e. www.ibsindia.org.

  • Questions are in multiple choice format and are objective in nature.
  • Duration of the exam is 2 hours (120 minutes)
  • Total 140 questions will be asked in the exam
  • Every question will have 5 alternative responses; out of which candidate has to choose one that seems the most appropriate choice.
  • Question paper is divided into 4 sections i.e. Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation.
  • Every correct answer will be awarded +1 mark for every correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking


The difficulty level of the entrance exam is generally moderate. IBSAT 2019 Syllabus is based on Higher Secondary level knowledge. The registration process for IBSAT examination has begun from the 1st week of July 2018 and the exam will be conducted in the 3rd week of December 2018.

IBSAT 2019 Exam Pattern in Detail

IBSAT 2019 question paper will be divided into 4 sections- Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Data Adequacy and Interpretation and Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates can attempt the question paper in any order of their choice. No specific time restriction is allotted to a particular section. Also, no sectional cut off will be applicable.

The sections comprising IBSAT Exam Pattern are discussed below:

  • Verbal Ability: This section is intended to test the student’s knowledge and proficiency in the English language. 50 questions in total are asked in this section.
  • Reading Comprehension: This section includes unseen passages and candidates have to answer questions based on these passages. 30 questions in total are asked in this section. Generally, the questions are direct and to the point and the difficulty level is easy to moderate.
  • Quantitative Ability: This section is planned to assess the basic mathematical ability of candidates. A total of 30 questions will be asked in this section. It is considered to be a scoring section, among all the 4 sections, though the level of difficulty for this section is moderate to high.
  • Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation: In this section, the visualization power of candidates is analyzed by examining their ability to understand graph, charts, tables and patterns from the data given. This section consists of 30 questions in total and the difficulty level is moderate.

IBSAT 2019 Marking Scheme

Candidates should note that the marking scheme is in order to decide that how to attempt the questions in the aptitude entrance examination. There are no major changes expected in the marking scheme of IBSAT 2019 and it is the same as that for the year 2017. Also, there is no negative marking in the test. Following is the marking scheme:

  • Every correct answer will be awarded +1 mark
  • There will be no penalty of marks for wrong or incorrect answers i.e. there will be no negative marking
  • No mark will be deducted for not attempting any question or leaving it blank
  • There will no sectional cut off score and no sectional time limit for the exam.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a national-level entrance test for admission to postgraduate management studies. The test is oreganized and managed by by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) to fill seats in MBA, PGDM, and MCA programs offered by about 169+ university-affiliated private B-schools in Karnataka.

  • KMAT is an offline, pen and paper-based test, open to graduates in any discipline and from anywhere in India and abroad.
  • The application process for KMAT is managed online through the official website.
  • The test is conducted in about 17 test locations, of which the majority is concentrated in the state of Karnataka while others are located in Delhi, Kolkata, and Lucknow.
  • KMAT 2018 is scheduled for July 22 and candidates can apply online till July 10. The requisite fee for applying is INR 800.

KMAT 2018 Eligibility

The eligibility conditions for KMAT Karnataka will vary according to the different programs on offer.

  • MBA/PGDM: Graduate in at least a 3-year degree program from a recognized body in the disciplines of either Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent with a minimum average score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidate). Degree final year candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • MCA: A graduation degree with a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks. Candidates should have studied Maths at either +2 or graduation level.

 

KMAT 2018 Application Form

KMAT Application Form can be submitted in an online mode only. The application form can be accessed on the official website. The steps involved in the process is listed below:

  1. Visit official website http://www.kmatindia.com/
  2. Register with compulsory details like Course Applied for, Applicant’s Name, DoB, Gender, Domicile, Email Address and Mobile Number.
  3. Upon successful registration, a Unique application number and password will be generated.
  4. Login with auto-generated login credentials and continue to fill the application form with required details.
  5. Affix scanned copy of applicant’s passport-size photograph (>500 kb) and specimen signature (>200 kb) in space provided on the form.
  6. Proceed to pay the application fee online through the integrated payment gateway. In case of payment is to be made offline, via a demand draft, select the appropriate option on the form and enter DD details.
  7. Review the details entered into the form before obtaining prints of the same.
  8. Applicants making offline payment are required to dispatch the completed Application Form Print-out along with the Demand Draft to The Secretary- KMAT 2018, Seshadripuram First Grade College CA, Site No 26, Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore-560064.
  9. Candidates are advised to safe keep a photocopy of the Application Form and DD for the records.

KMAT Karnataka Application Fee

  • KMAT Application Fee of INR 800 can be paid in both online as well as offline modes. The application fee is same across all categories and is non-refundable.
  • In the online mode, the applicant can use either debit/credit cards or net banking and mobile wallets etc. and make the payment through the integrated payment gateway.
  • The offline applicants have to draw a demand draft on a nationalized bank for INR 800, in favor of KMAT 2018, payable at Bangalore.

Note:

  • Request for refund will be entertained only in cases where the fee has been paid twice by one candidate for the same course.
  • Candidates willing to apply for both the MBA and the MCA tests are required to register for each test separately.

KMAT 2018 Admit Card

KMAT Karnataka Admit Card will be issued online for those candidates who submit their application complete in all respect and within the submission deadline. The Admit Card has to be downloaded from the official website as there are no other means of obtaining the same. The steps involved in downloading the document is listed below:

  1. Visit the official website and login with appropriate credentials.
  2. Click on the link for KMAT Admit Card
  3. The Admit Card will be displayed on-screen.
  4. Download, Save and obtain prints of the document for future use.

KMAT Admit Card will contain details such as the registration number, applicant’s registration details, exam center details, exam date and time, and the scanned images of applicant’s photograph and specimen signature as uploaded at the time of application. Candidates are required to affix identical passport-size photograph as uploaded in the application form in the space provided on the KMAT Admit Card.

KMAT 2018 Exam Center

  • KMAT is conducted in about 17 locations across the country.
  • While the majority of the locations are concentrated in Karnataka, the test can also be taken in three out-of-state locations, viz., Delhi, Kolkata, and Lucknow.
  • Applicants can select their preferred test center location at the time of application.
  • No request for a change in test center location will be entertained once the choice is made at the time of applying.
  • However, please note that the exam conducting authority reserves the right to cancel or add any center and also have the final say in test center allocation.
  • The Admit Card will bear the details of the allotted test center to a candidate.

KMAT Karnataka Cut Off

The KMAT conducting authority does not release any cut-off score for admission. The participating institutes release their individual cut off requirements. Candidates who satisfy the cut-off requirements are called for further rounds of selection for admission.

KMAT Karnataka Counseling

  • There is no centralised counselling process for candidates qualifying in KMAT.
  • Candidates who score more than the cut-off score set by the institutes can apply to them individually and appear for the selection process as per schedule.
  • The process would consist of a group discussion round and personal interview or either one of the two, as deemed fit by the concerned institute.

Eligibility for SRMCAT Application Form

SRMCAT Application Fee

SRMCAT Application Fee is expected to be INR 1100, based on previous years’ records. The fee can be paid in both online as well as offline modes. The details about available payment modes are outlined below:

Online Mode

Application Fee can be paid through the official website’s integrated payment gateway using either Credit or Debit Cards. Another way of making the online payment is by using unique prepaid e-voucher codes that can be purchased at any SRM campus.

MICAT 2019 Selection Process

Unlike other processes, MICAT Selection Procedure is conducted jointly for both MICAT I and MICAT II qualified candidates. The shortlisted candidates from both the phases are called for selection process in Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. MICAT Selection Process comprises two rounds i.e. Personal Interview and Group Exercise. Based on XAT/ CAT/ GMAT along with PI & GE scores students can get direct admission in the desired course. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT ) Application Form 2019

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) conducts IIFT entrance exam every year for admission to its MBA (international Business) programs at its Delhi and Kolkata campus. IIFT 2019 is expected to be conducted in the first week of December 2018. The entrance will be an objective-type test carrying around 114 multiple-choice questions. IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates planning to apply for IIFT 2019 must check the eligibility criteria before applying. Here are the basic eligibility criteria of IIFT 2019:

  • Candidates must have a recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration.
  • Final year graduation students are eligible to apply for IIFT 2019. However, they would need to furnish a proof of appearing for the final semester.
  • Age Limit – There is no age limit for candidates to apply for IIFT exam.
  • International students/Foreign Nationals/NRI Candidates/Children of NRIs can apply with a valid GMAT score only.

IIFT Application Form 2019

The application form is slated to release in the fourth week of July 2018. IIFT 2019 application form will be available in offline as well as in offline mode. All the particulars in the form such as personal, academic and contact information must be filled-in correctly to prevent any hassles later on.

Online IIFT Application Form

Candidates who choose to fill the application form online can pay the application fee online through debit/credit or net banking.

Offline IIFT Application Form

Candidates willing to apply in offline mode can purchase the prospectus through cash or Demand Draft (DD) from IIFT admission office. Candidates can fill the form attached in the prospectus and send it to the IIFT address.

Online

To begin with the online application procedure, candidates first need to get registered to the website. When the application process begins, candidates can follow the steps below to register for IIFT 2018:

  • Candidates need to click on the “Apply Now” link and select the category you belong from to apply for the exam.
  • Read carefully the information displayed on your screen regarding the payment of application fee.
  • Fill in the basic details asked in the application form and submit the form.
  • Application number will be sent to you to the registered email id after the successful submission of the form.
  • Use the application no. sent to you in email and password entered by you while registration to log in to the website.
  • After final submission of the form, candidate will be informed regarding successful registration through an email at registered email id.

Offline

Candidates can either purchase the IIFT application form 2019 from the Institute or they can take the print of the application form, fill it and send it to the institute by post to the address is given below:

Essential documents to be Enclosed with the Form

Candidates who fill the IIFT application form offline, they would also need to send the following documents along with the form.

  • Request application clearly mentioning your postal address where you want to receive your application form.
  • Demand Draft of requisite amount in favor of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE payable at NEW DELHI. It is mandatory for applicants to write their name and address on the back of the Demand Draft.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PH/ OBC (non-creamy layer) categories have to attach requisite self-attested Category Certificate.
  • Two adhesive stickers/ name slips (not the envelop) stating your address for sending the brochure and application form.

Details to be Filled in IIFT Application Form

All the major details required in IIFT 2019 Application Form is tabulated below for reference. All the details indicated below are mandatory and need to be filled by every candidate in order to complete the application process.

Candidate’s name Includes the details of first name, middle name and last name.
Email id A valid functional email id which can be used for further communication
Mobile number A functional mobile number so that candidates can receive the notification on the phone regarding the exam and download of admit card.
Age Age has to be given in years and months eg: 24 years and 8 month
Date of birth To verify the age Date Of Birth is printed in the format of the date, month and year (DD/MM/YYYY)
Father’s name Name of father as printed in class 10 certificate
Mother’s name Name must match the name printed on birth certificate or your 10th certificate
Educational Qualification along with the marks Percentage marks obtained in class 10th,12th,graduation and the year of passing of the same.
Reservation details Upload the certificate issued and registered with government bodies.
Address details Details of street, city, district, pin code etc.

Scanned image and Signature Specifications

  • Candidates need to upload their scanned image and signature. Hence, they should keep a scanned copy of both ready at the time of filling the application form.
  • The image size for both photograph and signature should be in a JPG format and should be less than 50 KB each.
  • It is important for applicants to have a copy of their scanned clear signature. It must be done on a white background and the size of the file should be less than 50 KB.

Category wise application fee prescribed for IIFT 2019 is mentioned below:

Mode of Payment

Candidates can make the payment online as well as offline by the Demand Draft.

Online Payment: Candidates can make the payment of the application form with the help of Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. No requirement to send the soft copy of form or transaction slip to the office.

Demand Draft: Candidates can also make the payment by demand draft. While sending the DD, candidates must send the printout of application form within 10 days from the date of online registration. The name of candidate and application number must be mentioned on the backside of DD.

After final submission of the IIFT application form candidates can check the duly filled application form by clicking ‘Preview’ button. Candidates must take the print out of application form as reference in cases of any discrepancy while communicating with the admission committee.

Please note that no payment through Demand Draft will be accepted at the Campus.
