CAT 2018 Exam Pattern
Candidates must have an understanding of exam pattern for CAT 2018 to excel in test. CAT’s structure and paper pattern have not undergone any major changes as compared to the previous years’ question paper. CAT 2018 will be an online test, that is, computer-based, consisting of three sections, Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC), Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning (LR) and Quantitative Ability (QA). The total number of questions would be 100 wherein the distribution is expected to be QA and VRC sections carry 34 questions each and the DI & LR section carries 32 questions.
CAT 2018 will be conducted in a single day window in forenoon and afternoon slots tentatively on November 25, 2018. CAT 2018 Result will be tentatively announced by Indian Institute of Management on or after January 15, 2019. The admit card is expected to be issued by October 25, 2018, which carries student’s information such as the schedule of the test, venue and the test day instructions along with their few personal details.
